At somepoint this will result in a new broadcaster that wont bother with diversity quotas for onscreen talent (is that legal?), just whoever gels best. more people would watch it obviously

Not surprised. They fucked it when they Thompson and the others go. They won’t get anyone close to Stelling, that slag Alex Scott is my bet.

Soccer Saturday used to be a really good, fun watch several years ago. Not surprised he’s calling it a day. (Or was he told his services are no longer required?) I’m sure he won’t be short of other job offers.

Don’t watch Sky Sports much so don’t have a massive opinion but he seemed one of the few football TV people who was good at his job.

Clinton Morrison or Carlton Cole to take over.

Always liked Stelling to be fair.

It's some of the woke side kicks I've had the problem with. Maybe it could be a reason for deciding to go? Keeps getting stuck with complete wankers.

Who will come in?

Alex Scott would be first in line I'd imagine.

Whoever it is I can imagine what boxes they'd tick... and being a great presenter won't be one of those boxes.
